THINGS REJECTED BY WISDOM AND SPIRITUALITY :SORT SIGHTEDNESS pt3
In simple a simple definition, spiritual sort sightedness is having a shallow view of the things of God. Spiritual sort sightedness is the reason why many people who go to church only see God as a being who lives far from us and will one day judge us, there are many “faces” of God and one day God willing I’ll share them with you. But to all who did receive Him, He gave them the right to be children of God, to those who believe in His name,(John 1:12). This verse shows us that God is more than just our God.
But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things will be provided for you.(Matthew 6:33)
If you’re not putting the things of God first then you are spiritually myopic. As children of God we must make God and his kingdom our first priority because it is our duty. Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.(Ecclesiastes 12:13)
Then He told them a parable: “A rich man’s land was very productive. He thought to himself, ‘What should I do, since I don’t have anywhere to store my crops? I will do this,’ he said. ‘I’ll tear down my barns and build bigger ones and store all my grain and my goods there. Then I’ll say to myself, “You have many goods stored up for many years. Take it easy; eat, drink, and enjoy yourself.”’“But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life is demanded of you. And the things you have prepared — whose will they be?’“That’s how it is with the one who stores up treasure for himself and is not rich toward God.”(Luke 12:16-21).

Don’t use your physical needs as and excuse for not serving God for he knows that your body as needs and he’ll provide for it.

So don’t worry, saying, ‘What will we eat?’ or ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘What will we wear?’ For the idolaters eagerly seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.(Matthew 6:31-32)
