What makes people to loose their salvation part 1

And when the feast was ended, as they were returning, the boy Jesus stayed behind in Jerusalem. His parents did not know it,(Luke 2:43)
We’ll start by looking at what makes people to forsake the faith because it is important to know the cause so that you will not fall into the same pit.

What makes people to loose their salvation

1. Pleasures of the flesh/body

For Demas hath forsaken me, having loved this present world, and is departed unto Thessalonica; Crescens to Galatia, Titus unto Dalmatia.(2 Timothy 4:10)

There is nothing wrong is having fun but you are not supposed to forget the Lord while having fun. You must be mindful of what events and parties you attend because some of those parties that you go to the moment you enter you loose the Holy Spirit.

Be mindful of your appetite and thirst because if you loose control of them you will end up in hell. The reason Samson lost his hair is because he couldn’t control his appetite for women, the same goes for David.

Then went Samson to Gaza, and saw there an harlot, and went in unto her.(Judges 16:1)

And it came to pass in an eveningtide, that David arose from off his bed, and walked upon the roof of the king’s house: and from the roof he saw a woman washing herself; and the woman was very beautiful to look upon. And David sent and enquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?(2 Samuel 11:2-3)

As a child of God you are not supposed to let the desires of your body to drive you because the Word of God is what directs you in all your activities
